Just Flutes Monday Night Workshops for Adult Flute Players with Chris Hankin

These workshops are specially curated for adult players who are passionate about the flute and they are wide-ranging in content. All manner of flute techniques are given a thorough workout, sound issues are explored in depth, we look at new repertoire and delve into more familiar pieces to discover new ideas.

The workshops last one hour and are suitable for everyone. Music is shared on screen and time given for you to try it out. This means that you can go at your own pace with no one else, except maybe the dog, to hear you! A repertoire list will be emailed the weekend before the class and participants can purchase music at a 10% discount until the end of the month. Workshop notes will be sent after the session. All classes are recorded so if you are unable to join live you can still catch the action!

This is one of the most popular events in the Just Flutes calendar as they are specifically designed for adult players who love to play all day long! This is what we cover:

• Flute Choir: The flute choir music is carefully chosen to accommodate all levels and there is always support around to help.
• Small Chamber Groups: These are organised by comfort level so that you can be guaranteed to both improve and enjoy yourself.
• Technical help and advice on hand should you need it.
• Mystery Session - is just that!
• Concert: an increasingly important part of the day!

The day runs from 10.00 - 4.30 and is suitable for everyone. Come and play until you drop!

Individual lessons at Just Flutes - flute playing for all!

Individual lessons are such a good idea and Chris Hankin has a wealth of experience to share. Lessons are especially suitable for:

• Students thinking about taking a higher level exam.
• Non specialists who need some advice on how to to teach the flute.
• Flute teachers who would like to broaden their repertoire
• Adults returning to the flute and those already on that journey
• Pupils and parents who would like general help and advice about the flute.
